BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the office of the City Attorney be and is hereby authorized and directed to institute eminent domain proceedings against Richard Huskey and wife, Deane Huskey, relative to the Bessie Smith Preservation Hall, for property described as follows: BEING LOCATED IN THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, HAMILTON COUNTY, TENNESSEE: BEING a part of Lot B, Block Fifteen (15), Griffins Addition to Chattanooga. Said part of lot fronts Sixty-eight (68) feet on the present South line of East Ninth Street and extends back Southwardly between parallel lines, One Hundred Fourteen (114) feet, more or less, to the North line of the Davenport Hosiery Mill property.
